Biography

Mr. Larson has served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer since July 2026. Before joining Diamondback, Mr. Larson served as Vice President of Accounting and Controller (Principal Accounting Officer) at Expand Energy Corporation from June 2021 to July 2026. Prior to that, he served as Director of Corporate Accounting at Chesapeake Energy Corporation from December 2017 to June 2021 and as Senior Manager of Corporate Accounting from September 2014 to December 2017. Mr. Larson served as Accounting Manager of Financial Reporting at Access Midstream Partners from November 2012 to September 2014 and in various accounting supervisory roles at Chesapeake Energy Corporation from March 2010 to November 2012. Prior to that, he served as Manager of Financial Reporting at Diamondback Energy Services/Superior Well Services from July 2007 to March 2010. Mr. Larson began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young from September 2003 to July 2007. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and his Master of Science degree in Accounting from Oklahoma City University. Mr. Larson is also a certified public accountant.
