Mr. Stice has served as our Chief Executive Officer since January 2012 and a director of Diamondback since November 2012. Prior to his current position with us, he served as our President and Chief Operating Officer from April 2011 to January 2012. Mr. Stice has more than 33 years of industry experience in production operations, reservoir engineering, production engineering and unconventional oil and gas exploration, and more than 25 years of management experience. He started his career with Mobil Oil in 1985. He then held a series of positions with increasing responsibilities at Burlington Resources until it was acquired by ConocoPhillips in March 2006. Before joining us, he served as a Vice President of Laredo Petroleum Holdings, Inc., from September 2008 to September 2010. Mr. Stice graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and serves on the Industry Advisory Board of the Petroleum Engineering department at Texas A&M. Mr. Stice is a registered engineer in Texas and is a 30-year member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He also serves on industry boards for the Permian Basin Petroleum Association, American Exploration and Production Council, and the National Petroleum Council. Additionally, he is on local community boards for Manor Park Retirement Center in Midland, the Midland Memorial Hospital, the Midland Chamber of Commerce and the Midland Petroleum Club.
Mr. Hollis has served as our President since his appointment effective January 1, 2017 and as our Chief Operating Officer since July 2015. He joined Diamondback in September 2011 and served as our Vice President - Drilling prior to his current position. Mr. Hollis has also served as a director of the general partner of Viper since June 2014. Prior to joining Diamondback, Mr. Hollis served in various roles, most recently as drilling manager at Chesapeake Energy Corporation from June 2006 to September 2011. Mr. Hollis worked for ConocoPhillips Company as a senior drilling engineer from January 2002 to June 2006. Mr. Hollis received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
Ms. Dick was promoted to her current position effective January 2017. Prior to her current position with us, Ms. Dick served as our Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from November 2009 to January 2017, and as our Corporate Controller from November 2007 until November 2009. From June 2006 to November 2007, Ms. Dick held a key management position as the Controller/Tax Director at Hiland Partners, a publicly-traded midstream energy master limited partnership. Ms. Dick has over 19 years of accounting experience, including over eight years of public company experience in both audit and tax areas. Ms. Dick received her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Northern Colorado. Ms. Dick is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies.
Mr. Holder joined us in November 2011 as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. Mr. Holder was promoted to his current position effective January 2017. Prior to joining us, Mr. Holder served as General Counsel and Vice President for Great White Energy Services LLC, an oilfield services company, from November 2008 to November 2011. Mr. Holder served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for R.L. Hudson and Company, a supplier of molded rubber and plastic components, from February 2007 to October 2008. Mr. Holder was in private practice of law and a member of Holder Betz LLC from February 2005 to February 2007. Mr. Holder served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, a vehicle rental company, from January 2003 to February 2005 and, before that, as Vice President and General Counsel for Thrifty Rent-A-Car System, Inc., a vehicle rental company, from September 1996 to December 2002. He also served as Vice President and General Counsel for Pentastar Transportation Group, Inc. from November 1992 to September 1996, which was wholly-owned by Chrysler Corporation. Mr. Holder started his legal career with Tenneco Oil Company where he served as a Division Attorney providing legal services to the company's mid-continent division for ten years. Mr. Holder received a Juris Doctorate degree from Oklahoma City University.
Mr. Molnar joined Diamondback in August 2011 as Vice President – Geoscience and was promoted to his current position effective January 2017. He served as a Senior District Geologist for Samson Investment Company, an oil and gas exploration company, from March 2011 to August 2011, where he evaluated horizontal plays in the Delaware Basin. Mr. Molnar held leadership positions at ConocoPhillips as Rockies Geoscience Supervisor and Wyoming Asset Supervisor from April 2006 to February 2011, and was a geologic advisor for Burlington Resources from December 1996 until their acquisition by ConocoPhillips in April 2006. He was recruited by Exxon in 1981, where he held various technical positions in Exploration and Production. Mr. Molnar obtained his BS in Geoscience from the NY State College at Buffalo in 1978, and after a year with Core Labs as a well site geologist in Oklahoma, obtained his MS in Geology from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1981. He is a licensed Professional Geoscientist in the states of Texas and Wyoming.
Mr. Pantermuehl joined us in August 2011 as Vice President - Reservoir Engineering and was promoted to his current position effective Janaury 2017. Prior to his current position with us, Mr. Pantermuehl served as a reservoir engineering supervisor for Concho Resources Inc., an oil and gas exploration company, from March 2010 to August 2011. Mr. Pantermuehl worked for ConocoPhillips Company as a reservoir engineering advisor from January 2005 to March 2010. Mr. Pantermuehl also worked as an independent consultant in the oil and gas industry from March 2000 to December 2004. Mr. Pantermuehl received a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
Mr. Hawkins has served as our Senior Vice President – Land since March, 2017. Prior to his current position with us, Mr. Hawkins was an independent Consultant for Land Activities from July 2016 to February 2017. Mr. Hawkins has over 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Hawkins spent 7 years with Oasis Petroleum, an active oil and gas company in the Williston Basin, as their Senior Vice President of Land or similar capacities from March 2009 to June 2016 at which time he retired. Mr. Hawkins previously retired from ConocoPhillips in February 2009 after spending 31 years with ConocoPhillips and Burlington Resources (which ConocoPhillips acquired in 2006). During that time, Mr. Hawkins held various operations and managerial positions in Land, Marketing, Planning and the Corporate Acquisitions and Divestitures groups. Mr. Hawkins has worked in several major regions in the continental United States, including the San Juan Basin, the Williston Basin and the Austin Chalk/Wilcox Trends in South Texas. Mr. Hawkins holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at El Paso.
Mr. Van't Hof joined Diamondback in July 2016 as Vice President - Strategy and Corporate Development and was promoted to his current position effective January 2017. Prior to his position with us, Mr. Van't Hof served as Chief Executive Officer for Bison Drilling and Field Services from September 2012 to June 2016. From August 2011 to August 2012, Mr. Van't Hof was an analyst for Wexford Capital, LP responsible for developing operating models and business plans, including for our initial public offering, and before that worked for the Investment Banking - Financial Institutions Group of Citigroup Global Markets, Inc. from February 2010 to July 2011. Mr. Van't Hof was a professional tennis player from May 2008 to January 2010. Mr. Van't Hof received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
Jennifer Soliman serves as Senior Vice President & Chief Human Resources Officer. Ms. Soliman focuses on strategic aspects of aligning the organization, leading the Company's human capital strategy, brand building, and ongoing commitment to promoting a culture of excellence within Diamondback. She reports directly to Travis Stice, Chief Executive Officer, and serves as a member of the executive team. Before joining Diamondback, Ms. Soliman served in various human resources leadership roles in other public and private companies such as Woodside Energy, BP, and Koch Industries. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Behavior from Rollins College, graduating magna cum laude, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Rice University. Ms. Soliman serves on the board of Jones Partners at Rice Business School and honorably served as a member of the United States Air Force Reserves.
Ms. Blubaugh-Few has served as our Vice President – Accounting and Controller since April 2017. She previously served as our Controller from November 2009 to April 2017 and Assistant Controller from November 2007 to November 2009. Prior to joining us in January 2007, Ms. Blubaugh-Few held various accounting roles with Faulkner Exploration. She holds two Bachelor of Business Administration degrees from Oklahoma State University, majoring in Accounting and Finance as well as a MBA from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Mr. Cannon joined us in March 2014 as a Senior Geologist and was promoted to Exploration Manager in March 2015. He has served in his current position since his appointment in April 2017. Prior to joining us, he served as a Senior Geologist for Newfield Exploration, from January 2013 to March 2014, where he assisted in exploration, assessment, and development of SCOOP/STACK properties in the Anadarko Basin. Prior to that, he held the position of District Geologist for Samson Resources, from August 2011 to January 2013, where he held a position in the Corporate Exploration Department assessing Rockies, Mid-Continent, and East Texas unconventional plays. He was recruited by ConocoPhillips in 2008, where he held various positions in exploration and development of Rockies and Bakken assets. Mr. Cannon received his BS Geology from the State University of New York, College at Brockport in 2005 and obtained his MS in Geoscience from Pennsylvania State University in 2008 with a focus on structural geology and rock mechanics.
Mr. Dingler has served as Vice President - Legal and Deputy General Counsel since April of 2017. Prior to his current position with us, he served as Deputy General Counsel from April 2014 through March 2017. Prior to joining us, Mr. Dingler served as Associate General Counsel for Pioneer Natural Resources USA, Inc. from June 2005 to April 2014 and Senior Attorney from January 2002 to June 2005. Mr. Dingler was Of Counsel in private practice with the Midland firm of Woerndle, Strain and Miller, LLP from October 2000 to January 2002. He served Costilla Energy Inc. in the Office of Legal Counsel from October 1998 to June 2000. From 1991 to 1998 he served in various roles within the Legal Department of Pioneer Natural Resources USA, Inc. and its predecessor, Parker & Parsley Petroleum Co. Mr. Dingler began his legal career in private practice with Sanders, Bruin, Coll and Worley, PA in Roswell, NM in 1989. Mr. Dingler received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University School of Law in 1989.
Danny Wesson serves as Vice President of Operations. Mr. Wesson joined Diamondback in 2012 as an operations engineer, and has advanced through leadership roles, most recently serving as Vice President of Operations, Delaware Basin. Since joining the Company, he has made significant contributions to the completions and production operations, and will continue to drive Diamondback's relentless pursuit of best-in-class operations in his new role. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Wesson began his career at ConocoPhillips. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and is a member of the Permian Basin Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Yong Cho serves as Vice President of Drilling. Mr. Cho joined Diamondback in 2017 as the Delaware Drilling Manager, and has continued to make significant contributions to the team and will continue to ensure Diamondback's focus on teamwork is utilized to deliver best-in-class drilling operations. Before Joining us, Mr. Cho served as Drilling and Completion Manager for SK Plymouth from 2016 to 2017, and worked for Chesapeake Energy, beginning in 2004, and serving as their Drilling Manager from 2007 through 2015. Mr. Cho also gained experience working as a Senior Drilling Engineer for ConocoPhillips Company, and Union Pacific Resources. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
